Skills and Drills

To help in learning the fundamental skills used in the sport of hurling, the Gaelic Athletic Association has produced some great resources.  Please click on the following links to access these skills and drills cards.  Once you have a hurley and sliotar, familiarize yourself with these skills and drills, many of which can be practiced at home by yourself.  It will increase your dexterity with the hurley, as well as inspire some confidence in your position on the learning curve.  Once you've done this, come out to one of our practice sessions, posted on the calendar.
